Day 1 in Madrid is complete. And I realize now, as I am about to climb into my bed for an evening of well-deserved rest, that I really love my new apartment.
In fact, I'm a little homesick... and that NEVER happens!
Four star hotels in Madrid are great, but when it comes down to it, there really is no place like home sweet apartment.

Nic that's a beautiful apartment and wonderful decorating, makes me want to do some work around our house! I'm sorry you are home sick, that tends to happen on day 1 of a trip it will get better, and when you return home it'll be heavenly to plop in that bed!
Looks like a very nice place to live. You'll have to pick up a couple of bottle from Spain to add to your wine rack.
